"We have control over our next choice, but no control over the consequences of our choice. Knowing this, focus your resources on the choice in front of you, set the desired trajectory, and then let go, observing the outcome with curiosity and amusement. Like an accomplished archer, become clear on the target, pull back your bow to a point of stillness, release the arrow, and see what happens."

Why?

Task list

Why a blog on time issues? Well, I’m a procrastinator! There, I’ve said it! I AM A PROCRASTINATOR! With a capital everything!

What does this mean? Simple, I defer every task at hand. Why? I don’t know, it just happens. Do I like it? Sometimes. Mostly not however. It gets in the way when I’m at work. Colleagues are starting to notice I actually don’t work that hard. Or at least don’t get that much work done.

It’s become such a nuisance at the moment that I’ve decided to do something about it. That’s where this blog is coming into play! In this blog I want to describe everything and more I do to get my work done. Not only that: the eventual goal is to get my work done in as little time as possible.

Now I hear you saying: not another blog on getting things done, there are more than enough of those! Well, maybe, but I’m here to write about MY experiences, and what works for ME.

Of course I want to hear your opinion about everything I write. Have you got an answer to a question I’ve got? Do you want to share what works/worked for you? Please, please, please, react! Let me know about it!

"The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward."

First post!

Welcome to My Time Issues!

Although just a test (for now), I’m planning to write about anything related to time issues. At work, personal, anywhere.

Everyone has time issues. I plan to document them and write about solutions I’ve found.
